Barcelona, can you be more majestic with your 100’s of years old churches that are still being built, your unusual architecture and your gothic flare?
Barcelona is very much a city to be one with nature and explore, I mean that is what all of Gaudi’s designs (La Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, Casa Batllo) were based off of. From walking around Park Guell, strolling the cobblestone lanes of the Gothic Quarter, grabbing tapas at La Boqueria Market to surfing the Barceloneta Beach, the dreamy possibilities are endless.
The thing that I liked most about Barcelona though was their way of life. They worked hard, took a long lunch and siesta, finished the day and then had a nice long dinner. Our dinners would start at 10:00pm and in the blink of an eye it was 2:00am. We would be having so much fun with our wine, tapas and conversion that we didn’t even know what time it was. The locals were doing the same thing. The intimate connections that people have there are envious.
I CAN’T WAIT TO GO BACK!!
