With 632 guest rooms and 3 floors of breathtaking ballrooms and meeting space, you can plan the event of your dreams. They have in-house AV and the catering looks fabulous. They have sophisticated facilities with personal, passionate service. You also can’t beat the many amenities such as the several restaurants, indoor golf course, infinity pool, hot tub and workout facilities. They can accommodate smaller meetings as well as large meetings with a max capacity of 1800. They mentioned their main competitors are the Hyatt and the Shangri-La.

Capri by Fraser is a refreshing new hospitality concept that blurs the line between business and leisure. It is located in the prestigious Bangsar South residential cum commercial enclave. With 240 studios and apartments with kitchenettes and meeting spaces (Max 80 people) with full length windows overlooking the skyline this is certainly going to WOW your attendees. This is a much less expensive option than the Mandarin Oriental and is a lot more modern. They also have fabulous amenities including a fully-equipped gym, pool, garden terrace, game room, steam and sauna room and my favorite personal Jacuzzis overlooking the city.

Located in Chinatown, what was previously a brothel, house and warehouse, is now PS150, a cocktail bar headed by famed bartender Angel Ng. The space is divided into three different sections; the first section has a vintage look with red lights called the Opium Den, second is the Tiki space where it’s an open-air courtyard that’s great for bigger groups. The next room is the main bar area where it’s a mix of modern and old. The cocktail menu is divided into five eras (Vintage, Classic, Tiki, Disco and Contemporary) and each cocktail has is own unique twist on a classic. Although romantic in décor and lighting, planning a private event here would be a magical experience for your guests.

Marini’s on 57
